I was hanging with my boyfriend at his mom's house over the weekend, to help finalize some work that needed to be submitted by the following Monday right (yea I gotta exaggerate the blonde animation to my speaking). The oddest question popped in my busy mind
...what the hell will grandparents do in the next century to come if they are now complaining about NOTHING TO DO? I mean...there's technology everywhere! Lots of things like:
- Learn a thing or two from your youngest grandchild, they would probably thought of a new game by now.
- Go to the beach and lounge, read a book, go with a friend ofcourse!
- Play a video game, your grand children would love you more for that
My childhood memories when I once lived with my grandmother was rather interesting pushing the usual scolding aside; but of course my mother's side of the family have reaped a rather more creative driven pack. Each person had a different interest in either Art or Craft, sometimes both. Most of the time she would be sewing pajamas for any member of the family or baking cakes which were personally our favourite, esp when it came to Christmas time and we would pick the sorrel fruit to make the drink.
My point is I think -- no, Grandparents, do us a favour and find something to do in your spare time, because we're busy with our MP3's and Games, Movies and Jobs :)
MAYBE! Just maybe you guys should try what we do blog, tweet, facebook (well, if you're into it, but yea) TRY to listen to our music...it ain't so bad and stop thinking its devil worship (whisper: that's why we don't come around the house so often as you'd like us to)
What do you think Grandparents of the 22nd century will be doing in their spare time?

So dont give up on me or have the young ones just yet. Build a life and friendship first with the one you love, then marriage then grand kids...............
